We are happy to announce that Sunflower Relief enabled the delivery of the supplies for kids in Kamianets-Podilskyi, including nappies, food, powdered milk and bottles. See for yourself the journey humanitarian aid goes through before it gets to people in need.
Supplies for babies and children in Ukraine received!
1. We sourced the donor organisation Citizens of our Planet - A Chili Piper Foundation in the US, which had the aid to send, and matched them with our coordinator on the ground Sergiy Nizhynskyi.
2. We procured and translated the list of precise needs for the people from Sergiy and transferred them to the donor organisation.
3. Finally, we assigned our amazing project manager Irina A. to drive the delivery process over 3 weeks. She dealt with all the troubles, including communication issues between our purchasing partner Asociatia pastel, our logistics partner Volta Group, and the drivers Andrei Dascalescu and Calin Balut, who delivered the aid to Ukrainian kids.
This is a hard job, requiring many people to coordinate their efforts to make the impossible happen. But Sunflower Relief helps find the needed connections for everyone, who is willing to help.
